Bad News and Good News
You know how this works. We start with the bad news and move to the good.
Bad news - We won't be meeting up Saturday or Sunday and eating Chiloso. I know, that's pretty bad. That's why we saved the good news for now.
Good news - The show will go on! Yes, the iGo banquet is still going on, and it will be 100% virtual!
Just in case that wasn't good enough, you are always welcome to get your own Chiloso and watch the banquet while you polish off some grilled avocados. Unless you live too far away, or you're in Oklahoma. I got nothing for you in that case.
We made the call to move our banquets to an online only format. This has been a rough week here in Texas, and it just seemed like the best plan for everyone to move to an online presentation.
The really good news is that we already had a ton of people that were planning to tune in online, and that audience just got even larger. And we think our program is going to be just real nice as well.
We hope you will tune in to our Facebook page around 6:50pm on Saturday or Sunday. Brad Cardwell will be hosting that portion and other staff will be joining in the conversation as well.
Even if you aren't able to host a watch party, you can still invite other people to tune in. Copy the paragraphs below and send them to anyone you think would be interested: your friends, your family, your youth pastor, your pastor, your dog sitter, your dentist, your favorite deacon, your neighbors, your former iGo teammates, your accountant (he/she needs a break this weekend anyway), your barista, etc. Let's see how big we can make this thing.

Howdy! I want you to know that iGo Global is holding an online presentation this weekend. iGo is a student mission organization that I love, and I really think you will enjoy hearing more about what God has been doing through this ministry for the last 20+ years.
You will get to hear testimonies, hear from the iGo president, and learn how to be involved. They even have a surprise mystery guest joining them via video this year!
You can tune in to the iGo Facebook page around 6:50pm on Saturday (Feb 20) or Sunday (Feb 21). It will only take about an hour, and I really think you will enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions!

Host a Watch Party!
Would you please consider hosting a watch party and inviting some friends to join you? We are planning now to make the online banquet experience a great one, and we would love it if you gathered some people in your home or on your patio to join us online.
Invite friends that would be interested in our ministry. Invite iGo alumni to celebrate and hear about what iGo is up to these days. Invite friends from your church so they can hear about how our ministry serves and partners with churches.

A Matching Gift Challenge... again!
2020 was not what any of us had planned. No international trips. So much cancelled and taken away. But we know this as we head into 2021: the mission has not been cancelled. We are excited to share with you how God led us to pivot and what we are planning for this year and beyond.
We have a group of friends that have rallied around us again to provide a matching gift for this year's banquet. As of right now, we know that any money given on these two nights will be matched up to $37,000! That means that your gifts, and the gifts of those you invite will be doubled.
We are excited to see how God leads us and provides for us to create short-term missions with a
long-term impact this year!
